Most of the CAD tools are Linux based. You can access Linux machines in MCLD 358.
If you want to use your own computers (PC, Mac) to access these software, you will first have to first install X2go.
To download and setup X2go: https://help.ece.ubc.ca/X2go
Then, you need to be inside the UBC network to launch most of the software. For this, you either have to be on campus, or connect using VPN.
